James Cummings , independently practicing wealth, estate, tax and insurance planning since 1991. Proud son of a father who fought in Europe defending America in WW II. 5 sisters 3 brothers, 2 sons and 2 daughters and 10 grandchildren.

Native Texan born at Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. Awarded Eagle Scout age 13 presented by General William Westmoreland, US Army Chief of Staff. Shared dinner and discussions at the annual Eagle Scout conference in Washington DC. with Ross Perot Sr. Graduated from Reagan High School, Austin, Texas which has been renamed because of political liberalism.

Attended and studied modern economics at the University of Texas in Austin as a full time employed engineering intern of IBM. Vacated the internship at the University before graduating and resumed my IBM career in accounting and the last years of my employment was in direct sales with IBM industrial customers.

After leaving IBM Corp I entered the Texas commercial real estate industry for 10 years developing properties. In 1991 I entered the insurance industry focused on estate planning with Great West-Life now renamed Canada Life. After 2 years I became a true independent agent and planner.

I utilize the assets and planning of large billion dollar asset based U.S. life insurer's that focus on wealth preservation, long term care planning, asset accumulation with protected income, tax and estate planning.
